I was worried when they cut it to 7 points but old FU came thru down the stretch. House with a monster game. Bowser, Smith, Anderson, Vanderwall, Hien, and Bronson, all with good games.

I think this has to be one of our best, if not the best shooting nights of the year. Saw a new wrinkle in the offense tonight that was getting multiple players open.

Win goes a long way in avoiding the play-in game. Mercer is assured of a play-in, not mathematically but all but done. As Dan likes to say it would take a collapse of biblical proportions from FU and VMI and monumental run from MU. Most 3’s we’ve had in a lng time. Outside of the first 12 minutes of the second half, probably the best we’ve played all year. House had a great game. Bowser was great with the defense, blocked shots etc, probably his overall best game.

We are pretty tough to beat when knocking down threes. I suppose that is true of everybody, but we need them more than most teams.

We were a little better than Mercer in every stat. I didn't think they were terrible - 45%FG and 39% 3FG are normally decent numbers_ but we led in shooting percentage, three point percentage, rebounding, assists, steals, turnovers. Most surprising in a way was FT shooting. We hit 80% without either Anderson or Smith going to the line. Vanderwahl, Hien, and Bowser combined to shoot 11-13. Would love for those guys to keep that up the rest of the season and in the tournament.
