Kenpom is a joke. Florida Atlantic Univ was in the Final Four last year and returns all 5 starters. They should be in the top 4 until somebody beats them.

And what the heck has Clemson or So Carolina done to be that far in front of Furman? I didn't see either one in the NCAA last year.

Pomeroy's rankings are computed through matrix linear algebra and are not susceptible to "bias."

His mathematical approach is also the basis of the NET, however that formulation includes adjustments to add independent value to winning, which is not actually predictive of future results but makes sense in an NCAA system.

When does the NCAA release a NET rating?

I actually have history on NET release dates since 2018-19:

- 2018-19: DEC 1
- 2019-20: DEC 20
- 2020-21: JAN 13
- 2021-22: DEC 7
- 2022-23: DEC 6

But for Co-VID, we should expect NET rankings 1st week in December

Should have some very competitive games coming soon. The Paladins jumped from #115 to #95 in Kenpom after beating Belmont. Arkansas is #13, Liberty is #67,Princeton is #87, UAB is #91,Tulane is #102, Wichita State is #107, St. Louis is #127, Charleston is #137.

Yes. The purple unis looked great trimmed in white.

Black does not go well with purple, blue, or green. Black looks good with red, orange, yellow, silver, and gold.

Just to me. No I do not have any artistic talent.

Exception. The football black unis with the purple or silver helmets looked good but only for 1 or 2 games a year. Still prefer the traditional home and road colors.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
