I think Cooper bowser has the potential to be a monster for the paladins. If he puts on weight, this will be a big get for us. Unfortnalty he may be simialr to Hein in the sense that he was never able to put any significant muscle on his frame. Hopefully this is not the case!

Assuming Repass plays more of a role next year, I think redshirting Bowser would be the best move. A year of learning, development, and weight gain will only make him a better player in 2024.

Could we see Pegues, Foster and Hien all play around 30mpg this season?

would not be surprised if no one player plays more than 25 mins next year

1. develops players
2 keeps players rested
3, depth in case in case of injuries
4. keeps all engaged

then during the game, decide who to play depending on who is hot. nice problem to have

Williams will be in the mix
Molnar to be seen
developmen of Repass will b interesting
Look for Hughey to take big step
Whitt could be a very special player

then u have the transfer and new comers

wow.

I see your point, but Pegues and Foster already played 30mpg this past season, so highly unlikely they will play less.............

Heading into summer practices that begin in just a few days the depth chart should look a little something like this, the battles for PT will be intense. Listing 4 players deep at each spot, if we decide to redshirt anyone they just get taken off the depth chart this season.
Iron sharpens iron! :D

1
Pegues
Whitt
Smith
Harris

2
Foster
Smith
Bronson
Pegues

3
Williams
Molnar
Humphries
Foster

4
VanderWal
Hughey
Williams
Molnar

5
Hien
Repass
Bowser
Hughey

IMHO this would not equate to winning basketball. Continuity is a big factor. Having a lot of different combinations would not be good.

Either you're misinterpreting what's being stated or don't really understand how chemistry is developed on the basketball court throughout the practices and season. You can have continuity and play different combinations of players on the floor. The idea that this is somehow a negative makes zero sense, and frankly, shows a complete lack of faith in our coaching staff, despite their track-record.

That is why I do have confidence in the coaching staff. Thry basically played an 8 man rotation last year and will eventually do the same this year. Saying that veterans on the team won’t see 25 minutes is wrong. Good teams just don’t play 10 players equally.

It was a 9 man rotation, even though the 8th and 9th guys don't play a ton, and this year could most likely be about the same.

I think Hien will get a fair amount of playing time next year, especially if he improves his strength in the off season. Hien was pretty instrumental in the win against Virginia. The two free throws were clutch - he was a 50% FT shooter all year. Hopefully he can work on that in the offseason as well - at least get up into the 60s or low 70s. Consistency will be key - same output every game.

Not one person on this forum has suggested that 10 players will see equal playing time.
