Seems high to me. I expect WCU will come out guns a blazing for their opportunity to prove something. We better be ready.
If you go by the comparable game results so far it looks bizarre. Furman beat VMI by 16, WCU beat VMI by 12 - both games at VMI. We beat Gardner-Webb by 7 away, they beat GW by 12 at home. We beat Mercer by 2 at Mercer, they won at home by 8. We beat Chattanooga by7 at UTC, Western beat Chattanooga by 10 at home.

Should be tight. From the few minutes of Catamount ball I've seen on the screen WCU is moving the ball and shooting better than recent years and are deeper and their transfer guard Faulkner plays tough in the clutch.

Disapointing crowd tonight. If this wasn't the smallest crowd of the year it was close(1,695). No band, lots of no shows, small student turnout but those that were there were loud. Kudos to the team.

Would have been nice to have the band there

Crowds are getting much better for FU hoops no doubt about it, our average is up a good bit, but drawing well on weeknight games is still a puzzle we are trying to solve

Wednesday nights have always been a tough draw. It’s a huge night for church, which includes activities for children.

Also Wednesday night is a busy night for students... lots of organizations have their weekly meetings Wednesday evening. A good number of those organizations make those meetings mandatory.
All organizations and schools should cater to the SoCon men's basketball scheduling - NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

If there is a single event scheduled during a potential men's basketball game that individual should be fired.

In fact, we should cancel classes on Wednesday to ensure students have enough time to eat and study so they can attend the basketball game. Just like how Furman intentionally schedules spring break during the SoCon tournament so students don't have any conflicts and can attend the tournament..... ;)

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
