Hopefully there will be a huge student turnout again for the games this coming week:

Furman returns home to host Charleston Southern on Tuesday, December 11, in the "Last Day of Class Bash" at Timmons Arena at 7 p.m. before entertaining UNCW on Saturday, December 15.
Students will all be gone by Saturday except for the few who live within 100 miles or so. Maybe they'll make the holiday trip if too many plans have not been made already .

Might still be some left, final exams don't end until Dec. 19

Here are some of the analytics regarding Chuck South

They're a young team...start a Jr, 3 So's and a Fr. And they have some size, but it's inexperienced. Their 3 big men are all freshman. In fact, they are one one of the youngest teams in D1 (342/353)

Better on the defensive end than offensive. #265 in offensive efficiency vs #205 in defensive efficiency.

They don't shoot well, an effective FG% of 46.1% which is good for 294th, but they rebound pretty well, 117th on the offensive boards. 32.2% from 3 and they are about average in # of 3's per game.

On D they are pretty good in forcing turnovers, 22nd in D1, so taking care of the basketball will be critical. On defense they do a decent job defending the 3, but surrender 56.4% 2pt FG %, which is 316th...and plays into our strength of getting the ball inside, and also getting layups and dunks via our ball movement.

Yep looks like FU doesn't shutdown until the 20th. They will be gone the first 2 weeks of January, missing 2 SoCon games(3rd Mercer and 5th Citadel).

Charleston Southern is 4-4. They have lost the games they were underdogs in and won the games they were favored. Their four wins are all against much lower rated opposition. They lost to Florida and Marquette by 20-30 points each and lost two close games to Middle Tenn. State and North Florida. The last two teams are having down years, especially MTSU, which is 3-7 so far this year.

Christian Keeling , 6'4" junior, leads them in scoring, assists, steals, and blocked shots. Duncan LeXander, 6'8 freshman, leads in rebounding.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
