During a good part of our drought to open the second half when we scored 6 points in over 10 minutes, our players in game were Vander Wal, Hien, Whitt and Hughey. Not much scoring punch

Seemed like Pegues missed most of the first 10 plus minutes of the second half.

3 by Foster from corner with just over 2 minutes was huge.

Pegues-no words can explain the way he stepped up late!

Pegues decoyed them. An old Speed Morris trick.

What’s deal with Pegues? He has not been in for most of the second half!

Laying in wait.

I was asking to myself the whole second half as the previous posters where "why is Pegues not in there?" I guess we found out why! HaHa. Sort of. Hope Coach R gives a little insight.

Great win!!!

Post-game interview CBR said JP was "cramping-up early 2nd half."

You couldn’t ask for anything better for a college basketball game. Defense, bodies flying, huge momentum swinging shots, coaches shouting at each other, crowd into it. I thought the refs did a good job of letting the players play in a very physical game. Proud of this team. Woolbright is a great player.

JP hit a buzzer beater in HS in the state tournament, the winner against Virginia and today. One time could be luck. Three times is cool and concentration under pressure that you can't teach.

Bowser had to sit out last game with the flu I read. I wonder if JP cramping up in the second half could be flu related.

The ESPN talking voice said something like “it may be cold outside but it’s hot in here” when Pegues hit the shot. I beg to differ. That was stone cold. Ice in the veins.

Was anybody surprised we didn't see full court pressure on that last shot?

thats one of those plays, if it works coach is a genius. If not lots of what-iffy starts.

1. why nt drive to the basket like Both
2. why not pass to Foster in the wing

Glad it worked!
