I didn't realize until a few weeks ago that there is no guaranteed contract for a second round draft pick.
There have been 16 Furman players drafted. In the past there were up to 15 rounds. Now there is only two rounds. There have been only four players drafted in the first or second round. Selvy (1). Smith (2). Mayes (2) and now Slawson (2). Slawson is in high company, and we were lucky enough to witness his growth.
