Ahead of Beekman (at #50). I wonder if Noah Gurley wishes he’d stayed?

Gurley leaving helped Slawson to expand his game and realize all that potential he's got!

It also showed Hunter, Bothwell and Slawson that staying at Furman to play for 5 years under Bob Richey is actually a great idea :D

Basketball has changed.

7'4" Player of the year Zach Edey projected 9 spots behind Slawson at #51, and 6'10" 235 consensus All-American Drew Timme at #52. But neither of those guys can hit three point shots. Edey hasn't hit a single one in his Purdue career and Timme shot less than 17% behind the arc this year.

I am not sure if either guy can defend that far out either.

Edey and Timme are slow and can't shoot, does not translate well to the NBA game these days............

I am as high on Slawson as the next guy, but need to be prepared that there are a lot of mock drafts out there that don't have him going at all.
