I hope the folks at BSW get it right today. If not, Greenville and Furman will never host another first and second round.
What happened?
Problems with scanning and not opening the doors until 30 minutes before tipoff for the evening games caused thousands of fans to not get to their seats until late in the first half. Worst of all, the arena does not have sufficient means to remove humidity, which caused dangerous slipping for the players.

Yeah they gotta fix those issues indeed!
Wonder if the ice is beneath court and that is causing some issues?

Way overblown. Saw a couple of Duke players slip. No one in the second game. Easy to fault the Well but thr NCAA is the one at fault by not allowing enough time between sessions. The second game did not end until 5:40. An hour and a half until the second session. Not enough time to empty out, get ready for the next games and get people back in. Doors open at 3:15 today for the first game at 5:15. All should be good.

You are correct. The ice rink is still in place and when the doors are open and all the people get inside it causes humidity issues. The indoor environment creates it's own dewpoint.

So in others words, Coach K possibly coaching his last game, is walking on thin ice

Why couldn't they get rid of the ice for one weekend? Its the NCAA tournament for gosh sakes.
Not that easy and cost prohibitive. No arena that is used for hockey removes the ice until the season is finished,

I always print a hard copy, even if it means I'm becoming my parents.
The problem is with ticketmaster they say you cannot print them they will not scan. You have to use your phone. I know from Furmsn you used to be able to print them but I think that is going away also.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
