The better Wofford is, the better it is any time we beat them.

I still have a hard time accepting them as a rival. I think of them as an naia team that should not be a challenge at all. But right now they are better than us. Beat us 2 out of 3. It’s not a curse. It’s not mental. We have to get better. I’m confident that coach doesn’t think this team is as good as it gets.

That is just absurd to say the team that went 8-10 in the SoCon is better than the team that went 15-3, yes we lost 2 of 3 to them, good for them, but we have been much better this season overall, don't get that twisted one bit

I don’t understand this. Their last season in NAIA was 1987-88. That’s over 30 years ago. And for the last 20 years, they’ve had the superior basketball program and football is even at best. They are a rival, a huge rival, and our toughest challenge in men’s hoops and football.

As for us, we had a great year but should have saved some of those "W's" for the post-season.

We've only seen the tip of the iceberg in Mike Bothwell. He will be the cornerstone of our backcourt for the next two years. I can easily see Mike and Noah Gurley being 1st team All SoCon next season.
Keep your heads held high. I have a feeling next year will be something special.

This was the final year of the 5-year contract Cit gave Baucom in March of 2015. I'd be surprised if he was offered a new one. Actually...I'd be shocked.

“I was at the Charleston Citadel club breakfast yesterday morning. The AD was asked about the basketball team. He talked about how young the team was and all the injuries. Then he said that Dugger, "will be coaching for his job this next season." Though I think everyone on this board knows this I think since he said that in public he and Dugger have had that discussion.”

Must have been a single-year extension signed at some point. He signed a 5-year, $180K a year, contract in March of 2015. This past season was his 5th at Cit.

Citadel basketball coach Duggar Baucom signed a five-year contract when he was hired in 2015, a deal set to expire on April 30, 2020.

Not reported at the time: The contract also included an automatic one-year extension that kicked in after Baucom’s first season, extending the deal to April 30, 2021, and making it in effect a six-year contract.

″... Should coach remain employed by Institution as head coach of varsity basketball on April 30, 2016, the term of his contract shall automatically extend until April 30, 2021,” reads the contract, signed by former athletic director Jim Senter.
