Last time we played at UAB was in 2016, when FU ended UAB's 26 game home winning streak with a 84-74 win............

Only 4 unknown now. Expect 2 more non D1 games and hoping for one more Power 5. Shaping up as a pretty challenging schedule. Could be released soon, last year it was released on September 8th.

3 more home games against anybody and 1 more P6 road game would be pretty damn solid, not sure if another P6 will be brave enough to play us though..........

UAB had an excellent record last year - 29-10. They finished third in C-USA in the regular season, lost to Florida Atlantic in the conference tournament championship game, then lost to fellow C-USA member North Texas in the NIT championship game. They will have a lot of new players this coming season, which will be their first season as a member of the AAC. Their top scorer from last year, guard Jordan Walker,, is gone after scoring over 22 ppg. Their top big man, Trey Jemison 6'10" 260 lb, is also gone. They will have a bunch of new players. They signed 4 D1 transfers and 2 junior college transfers. Only 1 freshman on the roster.

I wonder if we will get a return game for 24-25? We didn't get one the last time we played them. We ought to. Furman appears to be their top OOC home game for next year.

A '24-25 Nov. or Dec. return game that we can play on a Saturday at Bon Secours Arena would be nice................

Not a Furman schedule comment - Davidson has announced their OOC schedule. They will play at ETSU in November. One of the few if any times they have traveled to a SoCon opponent since leaving for the A-10. Normally they only play their former SoCon mates at Davidson. Usually VMI or WCU. A quick check suggests the last time they played a road game at a SoCon team was in 2016 at Mercer.

Sign them up for a home and home! I feel like the series would be a lot more competitive now than it was for the rest of this century.

For example- see how well we’ve fared against Charleston since they left the SoCon. App too, for that matter.

Would love to play Davidson at Bon Secours Arena next year..........

We have gone 8-0 over the past 8 seasons against CofC, App St. and Elon

Will we open up on Nov. 6th or 7th?
Prediction: Nov. 6th with NGU
I was thinking the same until I checked the NGU schedule, they play @Gardner Webb Nov. 7th
https://nguathletics.com/sports/mbball/schedule

So we will probably be playing someone else to open the season...........

Southern Wesleyan has already released its schedule, but I guess it could change. I expect we will play BJU, in an agreement to allow us to use their gym next year.
