ESPN has Arkansas ranked #14 preseason...............

14. Arkansas Razorbacks

Arkansas was busy on NBA draft deadline day, seeing top recruiting target Ron Holland go to the G League, while retaining Devo Davis and losing Jordan Walsh to the NBA. Eric Musselman's team is absolutely loaded on the perimeter, with Davis and top-30 recruit Layden Blocker joining four experienced transfer guards. If Trevon Brazile is healthy, the frontcourt shouldn't be an issue, either. Cincinnati transfer Jeremiah Davenport provides a different dimension at power forward.

Projected starting lineup:
Khalif Battle (17.9 PPG at Temple)
Devo Davis (10.9 PPG)
Tramon Mark (10.1 PPG at Houston)
Trevon Brazile (11.8 PPG)
Makhi Mitchell (7.0 PPG)

I have a feeling that this may be one of the last OOC games we have of this caliber for a while. If we continue on the trajectory I think we are on games like this will become non existent.
They basically already have become non-existent, I am sure we only got this game because Arkansas could not find anyone else.....

Kudos to our staff for having the patience to keep dates open knowing we might catch one of the Power 6 teams needing to fill a date that we could step in and fill...............
I’m not so sure. When WC won a first round game and almost beat Kentucky in the second round(2019) the next year they had Butler, Missouri, UNC and Duke.

That will be a tough short road trip at Prnceton on Saturday then to Arkansas on Monday playing two distinctly different types of teams.

No they won their first game and took Kentucky to the wire. We won our first game and got worn out the second. So no the keyword is not almost. They also have beaten UNC twice in the regular season with no problems scheduling.

Another great top tier Mid-Major game added (UAB plays in the American Conference with another of our potential opponents Wichita State)
