Chattanooga's SoCon Freshman of the Year Kevin Easley, Jr. will transfer to TCU.

Elon point guard Dainan Swoope, a player the Paladins had some interest in during his HS days is headed for Sam Houston State.

Jeantal Cylla, second leading scorer and rebounder for UNCW this season, is grad transferring to Arkansas. I guess the Razorbacks were impressed with his 2-14 shooting, 7 points, and 5 rebs. against Furman this year.

According to this STORY Cattoor was contacted personally by Furman, Davidson, and Florida Atlantic after getting his release. North Carolina and Central Florida contacted his AAU coach and Wichita State talked with his mother.

Hunter Cattoor, top Wofford commit has now committed to Virginia Tech. Follows MY. Interesting to see how a top mid major commit translates to the ACC.
Three players from the 10 win 2017-18 Samford team grad transferred to Arizona, Louisville, and N. C. State. They all became starters. Justin Coleman lead Arizona in minutes played and assists and was 4th in scoring. Christen Cunningham lead Louisville in assists and was 2nd in scoring and minutes played.

Just a few examples.
HOW did they only win 10 games? That makes zero sense.

A bunch of individuals do not make a team necessarily.

I wasn't trying to be misleading. Wyatt Walker and Cunningham only played in a few games during the 2017-18 season. They had injury problems and were able to get redshirts, which is part of the reason they were able to grad transfer. But Walker and Cunningham both played two years together and didn't get Samford into the top half of the league so there is no guarantee that Coleman joining them would have made them dominant in the SoCon. They probably would have won more games than 10 if all had been fully healthy.

Walker was the one they missed the most in 2017-18. Samford had plenty of guards but no other posts as good.

ETSU is losing C Mladen Armus

Mercer is losing part time starter SG Marcus Cohen.
Armus leaving surprises me. ETSU has now lost both starting big men, and they were good ones. They recruit the junior colleges effectively and now have a great opportunity for any grad transfer big men. They may end up not missing a beat but this is a major problem to overcome for them.

A bit more understandable for Mercer with the coaching change. I don't know what style changes their new coach will implement.

Zac Ervin (former Wofford commit) names Furman as one of his 5 finalist schools he is choosing from. Said his decision will be made by the end of this week or the beginning of next.

App St. looks to be the front runner. Also named ETSU, Elon and Wofford.

Did he ever do an official campus visit to Furman?

Based on the article, sounds like he's pretty bent on App State.
He may be. Note that the board IS an App. State board and likely to get encouraging words from a prospect they interview.

Winters in Boone? Not for everyone... Can’t imagine a Wofford commit even has ETSU on their radar. Completely different education and player backgrounds. Furman has the best education of the 5 with the best campus and arguably best position to WIN.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
