cant make this up folks...

TOday.... Memphis leads CU 76-79 with 3 secs left. CU has ball.

Soon as CU player has ball Memphis fouls around mid-court

CU goes to the line, makes 1st and intentionally misses 2nd.

Memphis wins 79-77

Saw it live, down goes the undefeated, over-rated Tigers.

Just like Dean Smith did all the time. Foul the player the second he touches the ball. Not a shooting foul. It is not a hard call.

one of the reasons coach didnt complain was the game was not over and we had to keep our composure ..guess you cant review a foul call

Isn’t fouling the player risky with only 0.8 seconds showing on the clock?

The play would have been to overplay the pass and try to force their shooters to run away from the three point line to catch the pass. Or back away from the shooters and see if they could hit a very tough shot. Still hard to believe we lost the game. It would have been a legendary come from behind win.

Only could happen to Furman.

Evidently, our social media department got a little ahead of itself at the end, but who could blame them. We were robbed!

listen to the Dan SCott and TVH call at the end of regulation.. Its on Facebook.

They too t hought it was a done deal. Unusual for them as normally they are very cautiouos to call the game before done

BTW still dont see where the fould occurred. The only foul seen if the elbow to Molinars face before the shot

Here is the link. The only thing I can see is a left hand near the hip of the shooter. I guess the ref thought it was a push off and a foul. https://www.espn.co.uk/video/clip/_/id/39144536

Tulane had a one point lead against #24 FAU and fouled a 3 point desperation shooter with 4 tenths of a second left. FAU player made the first to tie it, missed the second and made the last one to win it.
