Agree with his decision. Sometimes it's best not to call a timeout. FAU did and then couldn't get the ball inbounds. The second time they got it in they ended up taking a forced, off balance shot.

Butler got down the court and was able to get a reasonable shot without any passes. Of course making the shot validated the decision.

I hated to see either team lose. What a great game.

First of all, too bad the SoCon doesn't have someone to check their tweets for mistakes. The word is "paid", not "payed".

Second, does Furman make any more money since they are the team who earned the money?

I asked that question right after we won the SoCon tournament and was told that the money is shared equally. My first thought was that did not seem fair, but I guess we did benefit for the last 43 years with that way of distributing the funds.

It’s amazing what length and physicality can do. UCONN has both.

UCON clearly the best in the Land. They whipped every opponent convincingly.

No argument here even though they didn’t win their conference regular season or tournament they had the most dominating ncas tourney ever. Wins by: 24, 15, 23, 28, 13 and 17. Average margin of victory: 20 ppg.

Connecticut had one of the oddest seasons ever. They won 14 in a row to begin the year. That included thumping Alabama by 15,Iowa State by 18,Florida by 21, and Butler by 22. Then they lost to Xavier by 10,which began a streak of 6 losses in 8 games. That was followed by a 9 win 2 loss streak with the only losses being one possession losses to nationally ranked Creighton and Marquette. Then came their dominant run through the NCAAs.
