Good win! How in the heck did Woffy beat that team by 39 points? Basketball is crazy.

As always- probably match-ups and chance. I looked at the stats for the Wofford-VMI game . Wofford's big man, Filewich, hit 9-10 FGs. That probably caused VMI to double team him more than usual. That probably let Wofford get some uncontested threes. Wofford had a good but not exceptional game shooting threes. Meanwhile VMI had a bad shooting game from both two point range and three point range. In the game at Wofford that VMI won they hit 44% of their threes. In the game at VMI that the Keydets got routed they hit 22% from three point range.

Good analysis TYA. Thanks. Live by the three and die by the three.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
