How bout we pull for a double digit upset over Sanford and Son. Control the things we can control Don’t worry about WC. If we are going to the big dance for the 3rd time in 40+ years we are going to have to win the SoCON tourney
Definitely pulling for the upset. Probably don’t need to worry about the big dance this year when we are struggling to stay out of the bottom four in the SoCon.
correct. most important thing is next game up. As that famous philosopher once said:apaladin wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 2:26 pmDefinitely pulling for the upset. Probably don’t need to worry about the big dance this year when we are struggling to stay out of the bottom four in the SoCon.

I think it does as long as one of the wins is vs. VMI. Only way to lose the tiebreaker is if VMI ends up beating a higher seeded team which I think would have to be UTC since FU has wins over SU and ETSU. Right now 2-2 is best we can hope for. VMI does not have a win against the top most of their wins have come against bottom feeders: Citadel, WCU, MU, FU and a decent road win at Wofford. Besides the road game at FU, the have 3 home games against WC, Samford and UTC, so they have a couple of opportunities.
Well that’s pretty much what we did Saturday and see what it got us. A big fat L. They don’t give any points for D, still got to put it in the basket.
