In some ways an ugly win, but the Paladins toughed it out. You have to win some like this. The word is out, this team can shoot the threes so a lot of teams are going to get in your faces and make you earn it.

Just need to learn to close it out without sweating. 9 point lead with 1.5 to go and score one point down the stretch. I’m sure CBR will not be happy with finish. Make free throws. Anyway sets up a Saturday matchup of unbeatens!! Way to go Paladins!!

Seattle plays what I think of as West Coast style. Physical, very athletic, and very aggressive rebounders. It is what John Wooden use to emphasize at UCLA and I think that style spread to other teams in the area. San Diego State gave us some of the same problems in the NCAAs,

Seattle has a lot of transfers, including several of their top players, and will probably keep improving as they get used to each other.

We only scored 10 points the last 11:21 and still won. Thank goodness that Seattle was offensively challenged, they only shot 26%. They stayed in the game with second chance points. Bowser with his best career game. Bronson showwd the potential he has.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
