Now back to the lineup I think Patrick Smith will come off the bench
Certainly could be the case..............

Agree with YWN. PJ Smith will start. Refer to Conley Garrison.

I do also like the lineup of Pegues, Foster, Williams, Vanderwal, and Hien and I think we will see a lot of that combo, too. We also might not see the same starting lineup for every game, especially early in the season. And it might depend on who we're playing.

I would imagine the guard rotation will start off with Pegues, Foster, Smith, and Whitt. The big rotation will be Hien, Williams, Van Der Wal, and Hughey (if healthy). I would imagine the freshmen will be given minutes and hopefully 1-2 of them can gain significant minutes like Van Der Wal did last year.

Happy to dig up some recent footage, Marcus Foster played 2 guard the vast majority of the second half against Virginia due to Bothwell's foul trouble, and it went pretty nicely! Boom baby :D

Hoop, thanks for posting the UVA/Furman game again. I was there to see it in person and I just watched it again for the 3rd or 4th time. And it doesn't get old.

When things were going bad during the game I thought at least 4 times "how did we win that game"? And then we did!

The bottom line is our players and coaches just never gave up.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
