Knew when he set his visits to Sammy, South Alabama and Furman that Furman would be a shoo in, lol. Not surprised at all.

Jordan Gainey, the USC Upstate transfer, has picked Tennessee, where his father is an assistant coach. No surprise there.

Akuel Kot, who got some attention from Furman is transferring to Wyoming.

Brandon Lieb, 7-0" transfer from Illinois is going to Illinois State.

Mason Walters, the 6'9 NAIA POY who got some Paladin interest, has chosen Wyoming.

now that we have signed bowser, i feel better about using our transfer scholarship on a guard.i felt we needed a rim protecting rebound and big scoring threat and believing we only had one scholly available i stated that i would prefer signing a big man from the portal.
still be interesting to learn how the other spot became available.

Loyola Chicago transfer Marquise Kennedy is headed to UIC. I suspect he expected a better destination when he decided to leave.

Jalen Forrest, the Presbyterian transfer, has picked Georgia Tech. His father, James, was a big star there a while back.

Yes, I do believe he was mentioned previously on this thread.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
