Is it time to insert Tyrese Hughey into the startng lineup? Today:
Hughey 15 points 11 rebounds. 6-8 shoiting
Hien. 2 points 1 rebounds 1-4 shooting
Foster 0 points 5 rebounds. 0-6 shooting.
I say yes!!
I guess it really doesn’t matter who starts but he definitely deserves more minutes.

Hien at least 2 bad turnovers also and 2 missed FT. Clearly not a good game. I have never understood how 6-9 players can get so few rebounds. Marcus Foster a bad shooting game.

They are both huge contributors though. The key word is CONSISTENCY. Who can contribute night in and night out?

Hard to believe only 3-7 FT for us.

Hard to win when you get 2 total points from 2 starters, 11 total from 3 starters. That’s why I think we need to give Hughey more minutes and I am sure the coaches will. TH is shooting 76% for the year.

Coach has said TH is in the gym at 6 AM for personal workout. Extra time is paying dividends. The squad is a team and we need all 9, 10 players contributing. Our depth is our strength. TH deserves more playing time. He is a strong player who can muscle some rebounds and play D as well as has a nice shooting range. We also need some improvement at PG which seems a little unsettled.

Yes! Hope Vanderwaal gets more minutes too. One player's head wasn't in the game today.
I like his play especially his willingness and ability to take a charge. Lots of potential and will get better.

I thought Hughey really came on strong late last year. I do like Hien, but he did not have a good day. Also, I didn’t like the “flex the muscle” act running up the court after he scored an inside bucket. Don’t do that 💩 early in the game. It’s one thing if you’re killing the other team but we weren’t. I understand trying to get fans in the game - just do it with your play. Foster has length but he really needs to use his body more when he goes to the bucket. At a minimum, he’ll draw contact and foul shots. Was nice seeing Lawrence on the court - hope he can stay healthy and contribute. Penn St was a very beatable team - we were better conditioned and it showed in the second half. I think our biggest problem in the first half was a lack of confidence and missing Alex Hunter at the point. I also thought maybe we would see more of Bothwell on Pickett. Nobody could guard him.

Hughey played great

All our guys will be fine, Penn St is really good, in fact one of the most experienced teams in the country, and we still almost beat them
