Yall need to listen to me, lol. Knew this would happen without a doubt. They shot 60% or plus 20% and 47% from 3 or plus 25% over Monday.apaladin wrote: ↑Mon Feb 21, 2022 10:04 pmSamford shot 40% and 22% from 3 tonight. Bet you right now they shoot at least 50% and 45% from 3 on Wednesday. .Hate to but I will be pulling hard for WC at VMI Wednesday.DungeonRealm wrote: ↑Mon Feb 21, 2022 9:59 pmCitadel misses a three at buzzer and Sammy survives by 2
Anderson is the best penetrator I have ever seen at Furman all to no avail, no dish, no shot.Paladin91 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 10:39 amJust too much 3-point shooting from this team - it's great when you're hot, but abysmal when you're not. Aside from Slawson being able to isolate inside, 9 times out of 10 we kick it back outside for an open 3. I can't tell you how many times yesterday we had Anderson or other guards get within 10-15 ft from the basket for an open jumper and we don't even think about taking the easy 2. It's a phase of the game that's non-existent on this team. You won't win the SOCON on the 3 game unless you're shooting it lights out the whole time. The chance of that happening is pretty slim.
Anderson has really improved his handling of the ball since last year, as well as his defense. I think what limits him to some extent on the offensive side is his low release point shooting the ball. That may be why he's afraid to shoot the ball inside.tim wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 10:50 amAnderson is the best penetrator I have ever seen at Furman all to no avail, no dish, no shot.Paladin91 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 10:39 amJust too much 3-point shooting from this team - it's great when you're hot, but abysmal when you're not. Yeah, he uses a two hand low release( I have noticed more players using two hands lately). I love to watch him play, all phases. I have seen Hunter use the elbow shot inside with some success.Paladin91 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 11:19 amAnderson has really improved his handling of the ball since last year, as well as his defense.
