The Furman defense in this game and in the last 3 games has been absolutely awesome. Western and Mercer had a hard time getting a shot off and VMI was totally out of its offensive plan. Kudos to the coaching staff for the scheme they are using (is it a matchup zone combo?) and to the players for their great effort and intensity. This under sized team has an excellent chance of winning the league and the tournament this year. IF, they get to the dance, they could well surprise some biggie. This defense will keep them in any game and if they shoot the 3 the way they have been, it could make for a very disappointed, highly ranked "dance" partner.

100%.. the way to beat Goliath is to sling it. And Dins have the weapons to sling it. Just have a few obstacles along the way, 7 more games and then the Tourney. It would be amazin to see his Team in the Dance

Seven opponents; eight games. We haven't seen El Cid yet so we play them twice.

Up 10 spots in the NET this morning to #67. Ranked higher than all but 4 ACC teams. Granted the ACC is gosh awful this year. Team Rankings now rank FU as #78 and #1 in SoCon. Chances of making the tournament are up to 38%. Kenpom #64.

Thank you to whoever posted this on YT! Missed three 3’s (2 from Foster) because the vcu and Richmond game took too long to finish. Love getting on live TV but stunk missing the first bit of the game and not getting a real replay like ESPN+ provides.
