Really good defense tonight. The offense was OK, some good shots weren't falling but we also got the ball inside especially late when we needed to.Hustle on rebounding was great to see.

Absolutely. I know of seven seats not filled last night because of covid. It was the reason Woffy had a lot of empty seats too. I don’t like it either, but the covid thing is hanging on and it’s real. The Wednesday night church thing is real too. It’s a huge family night, especially at Southern Baptist churches.

Covid is a major impediment but there are plenty of empty seats to move into. If you are fully vaccinated, masked up and social distant and relatively healthy there should not be a problem. This is the most enjoyable FU team in years. Go FU!

The NET is diggin' the 'dins this morning, improving to #74 from #80. In the two weeks since just before we played Chattanooga close, our NET ranking has improved 36 places from #110.

Oddly that is the only Saturday game at Timmons all year. Four games berween now and the UTC game. Would be nice to go into that game with only the 2 losses. That will be tough and prolly asking too much. Unfortunately I don’t see anyone beating UTC. Hope I’m wrong.

At a school like Furman, its more like church is keeping some away I feel like, SoCon should move games to either Tuesday or Thursday

How about "Healing and Hoops Nite". Service 60 mins before game, pass the plate 50 mins before the game, get healed 40 mins before the game. All are happy... souls, pastors and pockets
