Really disappointed in the crowd tonight both students and non students but in particular season ticket holders. Announced was just over 1,500. I wonder if the threat of being arrested for not wearing a mask had anythIng to do with it? Dunno I counted 118 students less than half of normal. I would say the season ticket holders sections were 50 to 60 percent no shows. For example the row I sit on and the row behind me has 28 seats. There were a total of 6 people in those 28 seats. These are prime midcourt seats. Do people just buy season tickets for the heck of it? Sure looks that way.

Yes the crowd size tonight was bad

Would even venture to say the small, low energy crowd played an influence on how bad we played in the first half

Low attendance is due to COVID. It is low at almost all the games across the country. People are laying low for a few weeks. Many of the folks that showed up did so because of the mask policy. I was glad to see the policy was being enforced.

Apaladin, could you please elaborate on the threat of being arrested for not wearing a mask, was not aware of this policy.

Just a little humor, I did see some people getting whacked with the paddles the ushers were waving.

Man, do any of you all remember 2008 years? There would be band members doing homework in the stands.

I really enjoy this basketball team and all the improvements we have made. Go dins!

Hard to belive FU is the only team in the country with 3 players averaging 15 points a game.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
