I’m not saying we need one nor that it will be a fluke if we win it.
This is not, after all, the final four.
I bet many of our losses in SoCon tourney over the last 40 years have been due to flukes.

Just need the ball to bounce our way for once in 40+ years. Better yet we need some Clempson type luck. Tonight Georgia Tech was up 1 and their leader and best free throw shooter gets fouled with 8 seconds left. He promptly throws up 2 bricks and CU ends up throwing up a desperation shot and it banks in for the win.

OK, OK maybe “fluke” was a little harsh. But we haven’t put together strings of good shooting nights and our offense really is dependent on good 3 shooting. On the other hand we’ll play at least one tourney game against somebody so bad that our off night is better than their average night. So maybe we really just need two good nights in a row. But actually even the top teams have shown they can play terrible, so maybe we only need one ok performance to win the tourney. I’ll go from fluke to mild upset.

apaladin & Furmanoid, with their repeated hidden references to a certain giant oceangoing mammal, are working together on something within this thread. I’m not sure what they’re doing or what their coded messages indicate, but it’s kinda freakin’ me out.

Mods need to investigate - Stock tips? Fix is in for the SoCon Tourney? CCP espionage communiques? What?
