There's a lot of upside with Jaylon but he needs to keep working on his team defense, spacing, where he's supposed to be on offense, etc. There's more to basketball than just chucking 3s.

Jaylon Pugh's lack of spacing and defense is not a big concern to me, but I am no basketball coach. We have lacked offense and he brings it every game, no matter the opponent. I say let him chuck threes and it will probably make up for any miscues on the defensive side of the floor. He is shooting nearly 65% from beyond the arc.

Well, this is more or less the opposite of CBR's on-court coaching philosophy...and so far, it's served him (and Furman) very well.

Well, this is more or less the opposite of CBR's on-court coaching philosophy...and so far, it's served him (and Furman) very well.
Furman ranks 9th in the NCAA in 3 point attempts per game so it can be both ways my friend..... Might as well have someone who shoots it above 50% throwing them up.
