That’s because he actually got on the court.
Gee, I hadn’t noticed. After all, I have only seen the team in person for 9 of our 11 games. 😀

On the season USC-U was hitting 28% of their three point shots. Sunday they made 43%. If they shoot their usual percentage this would have been a 20+ plus margin. Dig a little deeper and you see that was entirely due to one player - Bryson Mozone, averaging 34% from behind the arc, hit 6-8 (75%) while his teammates were at their usual numbers - 23%.

For the Paladins, I hope Lyons gets his shooting eye back soon. He is 2-21 from the arc over the past three games. We will need better than that against UNCG and ETSU.

Agree if JL could just shoot 35% from 3 that would be huge!

We looked a little tired, in my opinion. Long road trip, high intensity game against Auburn, and still apparently missing a rotational big man may have taken a little toll. Having a few at home may help a bit.

Coach actually said they were a bit tired. While they normally would practice today, he said he was giving them today off.

We played a high pressure, talented, fast, and physical Auburn team while short handed just a few days ago. Probably could stand a day off.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
