Andy Katz, who writes for NCAA.com, has the Paladins listed in his latest 2020 NCAA bracket projection. Furman has a #13 seed and plays #4 seed Purdue in Sacramento, CA. Winner to play Georgetown or Bowling Green and advance to the Eastern Regionals in New York City.

Katz has the following other teams playing in Sacramento -Villanova, Baylor, Western Kentucky, and either Notre Dame or Arizona State. Meanwhile, Oregon and Utah State are in Greensboro, NC and UC-Santa Barbara and St. Mary's are in Albany, NY. C'mon.

Auburn is listed a a #6 seed; South Florida is one of the first four out; Alabama is on the bubble, too.

Katz has FU and Redford as the sole bids from SoCon and Big South. As for our upcoming opponents, in addition to Auburn he's got UT Arlington listed as a 15-seed. No mention of U So. Florida.
