Not one, but two teams currently count us as their only win of the year - Charleston Southern and VMI.
In the two combined games we outgained them 748-392 and only punted 3 times in the two games ...
... but committed 7 turnovers.
Kill me now.

Maybe we should kneel every play?

Like Dandy Don used to say: Turnovers will kill you.

About time it was somebody else. Hopefully that is a sign of some maturity in our offensive guys.

FUATT- you must quit being so negative. People do not like negative posts/stats regardless how true/accurate they are. Please try be more positive.

Well... it's kind of positive. The underlying point is, if we don't have the turnovers we win those two games.
All of sudden we are 5-5 and playing for a winning season this weekend.
And then just one break at Wofford... like, maybe no red zone fumble on that second drive... 6-4.
Not counting the paycheck game, we have really only been out of two games.
So, if we can clean up operations... and with all that experience... next year is bright.

I have been pretty negative about the year since our early losses. I could see the writing on the wall- though I know it's an unlucky combination of factors rather than a talent disparity or a coaching problem.
I really think that the potential for a healthy FU team next year is more than most in the SoCon realize. We will catch some people off guard if everyone returns healthy.
I will be in Maconga this Saturday and I do not expect to be slaughtered. If we play our best game of the year, we may see Bear tears.

FU All the Time
Two strategies for the Macon Cubs:
1. First 2025 Scrimmage. Spring game version 1. Play everyone who would not burn a redshirt and give the experience in a live game setting. Get a head start on next year. Lot of film to teach off.
2. Empty the Bag. Load up, treat it like our bowl game. Take shots, take chances.
I think we are going to empty the bag. While 1 may be strategically smart, I don't think it's in our DNA.
I figure if we go the "empty the bag" route, then we either win a fairly close game or get run.
Guys will have fun if we go this route and I hope we do.

Yeah - #2 is the ONLY choice.
#1 ain’t the FU way. We don’t need to be excommunicating any Coaches post-game Saturday. Like former poster here, Oldfrt, in a Legs Contest at the Electric Warehouse, we gonna be IN IT TO WIN IT!
