Go Blue Hens. Would love to play Delaware in Greenville.

Then if NDSU would win their next round we could play the Bison in Greenville.

Today just illustrates the BS of it all. Every home team has won so far except Montana State. The good thing about that game was either MSU or NDSU was gonna lose. This of course shows the importance of home field advantage.

Mercer didn't do the SoCon any favors but it had the toughest matchup. If I was on the committee I would have sent Richmond to Furman, Chatty to Villanova, Mercer to Albany, and Youngstown State to SDSU. The results may have been the same, but....

If Mercer or Chatty had home games against CAA teams, things might have been different. Chatty, with all their players healthy, is a legit top 8 team, and we would have beat them anyway.

Furman, Chatty, and Mercer, WCU, and maybe even Sammy are better than all 4 of those CAA teams.

So much for all that. It is now time to beat Montana on the road.

Idaho losing at half time to SIU.

After Big Sky fans incessantly trash talked the SoCon the last several weeks, they are a half from having one team left standing - same as the SoCon. And Furman would have the chance to knock off their last remaining team.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
