Somehow, it seems too much.

Hard to figure. Chatt beat these guys by just 1 point two weeks ago. And VMI seemed to handle ETSU with relative ease last week.

Overreaction maybe but who gives us the best chance to win a championship this year? Jones!
The good news is we have a good back-up QB. No doubt Carson Jones is a better pure passer and can open up the long pass plays.
TH is a winner & has lots of experience.

When every team plays every team every year, SoCon teams can battle you ever week regardless of talent level.

It's really hard to do what Furman is doing right now, and just dominating the conference.

What we've also seen is that if Furman has a bad day, they are still winning the football game. When Furman has a good day, teams can't stay with us.

VMI has crossed the 50 yard line only once today, against mostly Furman's third string.

Just a dominant defensive effort today.

You can even see in Furman's third and fourth string guys - a lot of these guys are big dudes that look ready to be in a college game.

Future is bright.

I like what i'm seeing out of the younger guys. Lot of freshmen and sophomores out there against VMI's first string.

I love seeing the younger guys playing. They work hard and absolutely deserve it. It’s especially difficult for them as they really don’t get to play together as a complete unit in practice.

ETSU actually ran all over VMI. ETSU was better. Vmi was lucky.

Just a five turnover game with ETSU having 9 penalties for 80 yards. Was an outlier

Fantastic win to take Socon outright and keep the high seed hopes alive. Carson Jones looked legit out there. Future is bright for Furman football if that is what we can expect from him.

Our defense is just solid. And Carson’s passes were so beautiful!!!

Just an overall good game for Furman.

Jones got a lot of experience. Huff didn't need to play.

Also kept some wear off Roberto, who had 10 carries. Hicks and Thomas got some carries and looked to have a little pick up.

Hard to remember a better first half on both offense and defense. The second half was uneventful to say the least.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
