Dan- First of all, great job to you and your team on Saturday’s game. Because of the delay that the Audacy radio has versus the ESPN plus feed, it is hard to listen to you when it is a 30-45 second delay versus tv, but I try.
Does Furman know why the game wasn’t carried on ESPN plus?

Yes, big thanks to Dan and the team as I’m sure they saw the listeners spike to a season high with no TV option. I have switched to listening/watching his FB live booth cam as it is more consistent than Audacity and doesn’t have the lagging issues.

The explanation that we got was that it was an IT issue on Westerns campus. And apparently they could not get it fixed. Such is life in the world of technology. When it works, it’s great.

One of the knowledgeable WCU message board peeps said he had it from ‘inside sources’ that it was all on ESPN’s side…that the WCU piece was exiting campus perfectly and it was up to ESPN to fix it….something like that.
