I am not sure how the rule works with Covid now, but prior to Covid you had 5 years to play 4 seasons unless you were injured. If Huff plays in 2024 that will be 6 seasons.

I feel pretty certain this is Huff's last year - surely the guy will want to see what life has to offer him after college.

With Covid Free-year for all Student Athletes enrolled in 2020-2021 - you can think of it in 3 ways (whichever helps you understand it best)…

* 6 seasons to play 5 (parallels the 5 to play 4 you mentioned) IF you’re ‘counting’ any competition during the 2020-2021 Athletic Year

OR

6 years to play 4 (if you don’t ‘count’ any competition during the 2020-2021 Athletic Year)

OR

* 5 years to play 4 seasons (IF you Just pretend the Athletic Year of 2020-2021 does not exist & never existed)

My best guess is Jordan Miller from Arabia Mountain in Conyers. He did announce in a pinned tweet on 5/27/23 that he wasn't announcing until October, so could be someone else. He was just up here for a visit last weekend which is why I thought it might be him. If it is, he's got a decent offer list including Samford, Citadel, Wofford, Navy, Army, Colgate, SEMO, Stony Brook, Morgan St, and Bucknell.

Coach Roper also tweeted in seeming acknowledgement of the new WR commit and it is curious that both coaches included gifs of Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears. Wonder if this recruit has similar qualities or simply dons the same #23 at his high school? Assume the gifs it to be a clue to the recruit's identity, but could be wrong.

The recruiting class is off to a hot start. FU is definitely capitalizing off of its momentum in sports. I think this upcoming team will be great but I think the best is yet to come…

I believe that's two commits recently that chose Furman over App. Guess some things still make sense.
