What is this? Looks like the Cowboys copied our cartoon Paladin from circa 70s-80s:

That is an old school Cowboys logo that has been around forever, prolly before the FU one.

Know the FU Silly Horse was in use in 1978. Not sure when it 1st appeared though. Coach Sheridan, apparently, did a good job of having its existence expunged from the interwebs around 1980 or so.

OK, maybe that’s a little bit of overreach. But generally you try to change as few things as possible when things are going good. We can’t bring Joe back from the dead unless we really bump up the salary and agree to overlook some stuff. So I’d settle for bringing back a good luck charm.
