These sort of posts are infantile and completely useless.

We had a bad night, our offense couldn't stay on the field, our defense couldn't get off it, and ETSU wanted it more.

Also, nice job rotating the QB's today coach, probably the dumbest move I have seen in a long time

Seems like we are having these “bad nights” every week now. At some point we just aren’t a very good football team.

Putting in Grainger after that TD was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen in a football game. I don't see how anyone can have confidence in any coach that could make or support that decision. It wasn't like a snap judgment either - it followed an ETSU possession, meaning there was plenty of time to consider what to do. No one with sound judgment could possibly make that choice. And without good judgment, what hope is there?

Yeah, I didn't see the need to change the QB either; BUT the offensive did put enough points on the board.
Can't blame the QB for this one.
We should quit worrying about the QB and fix all the other stuff.

The team is bad in all aspects - the question is why? And when the coaching staff makes a decision like that, where no rational staff in college football would do likewise . . . it helps explain why.

It's more than a bad night when you blow a 21 point lead to ETSU in virtually one quarter.

It was a bad night. We were in control for most of the game.

At bottom, we couldn't stay on the field in the third quarter. We got pinned deep, had a few penalties, and eliminated a lot of what we can do offensively. We simply kept giving ETSU's offense a short field and they kept taking advantage of it.

I know everyone looks at last year's results, but we are still a very young team on offense. They are making mistakes in real time, and we aren't able to cover for them. The back breaking error yesterday was by a true freshman kick returner trying to implement a brand new rule in college football, who had the exact right intent, but opted to take a knee instead of waiving for a fair catch. Those mistakes are just going to happen. It sucks that they happened in a tie game in the fourth quarter.

How about the experienced defensive unit falling apart?

How about the delayed handoff in the end zone in a tie game? How about after getting to the 41 with plenty of time left needing a FG, taking a sack? There was plenty of time throw the ball away. CCH said on the postgame you just can't take a sack in that situation. On the taking the knee CCH said he told him to fair catch the ball when he went out there to get the ball on the 25. This was a critical mistake but we would have lost anyway at that point. ETSU was fired up and we were confused and down. Again the play calling was bad. We had a chance to stop them on 4th and 7 on their tying TD drive and they run a simple 15 yd curl in and no one was within 5 yds of the receiver. It was a team loss. I was surprised that Cronic was given the offensive coordinator's job instead of GQ. Now it is very obvious why. What about next year? I am afraid last year was a fluke year just like 2013 was a fluke year for CBF. We have to find a QB. A lot of being a successful QB is poise, confidence and experience. With that said natural talent is a must. I don't see that in any of our QB's. None of them have great accuracy. We have to find a QB. Period. AN OL would be nice too.

That's two bad nights in a row Clempson discounted. ETSU has just restarted football. Sorry but there is more at play here.
