Roberto is a big back, but he slimmed down some this offseason and for 230+ lbs, is a lot faster than he looks.
Why does OL get no credit. ? Right FUBEAR. That’s is where the rubber meets the road. OL v DL. Just once I wish the awards would go an OL Unit or a guy with 9 pancake blocks. Roberto was great but our OL was also great !! Huge holesThe Jackal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 9:17 amRoberto is a big back, but he slimmed down some this offseason and for 230+ lbs, is a lot faster than he looks.
The field vision has been outstanding. You don't expect a big guy like that to be able to stretch the zone and then cut up field and outrun folks.
Not sure why you'd say that. Furman named the entire offensive line co-offensive players of the week.gofurman wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 1:36 amWhy does OL get no credit. ? Right FUBEAR. I don’t know why I hold out hope. In SoCon the refs are atrocious. To hope for more credit to go to OL and DL is hoping beyond hope. LOL.
Anyway, I’ll say it - “ thanks to the big boys up front !!!!!!”
It was a great game to see them playing as a unit. Remember, they have a new OL coach and things are coming together. Let's see them build on it at VMI and be a multi-threat offense against Chatty.gofurman wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 1:36 amWhy does OL get no credit. ? Right FUBEAR. My mistake. Must be a Furman twitter feed or wherever. Glad to hear it!The Jackal wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 6:11 amNot sure why you'd say that.
