Weather

So I know some peeps get annoyed with weather on football thread.
So I’ll have a separate one as I have a point that’s often overlooked (though I think Dave mentioned it I. Fu v Sammy thread)
Others can weigh in on rain wind and how it affects O or D. Be interested to hear even though not sure our game will have rain. But I KNOW this one thing - even the talk of rain and weather hurts our home field advantage as Casual fans stay home just based on forecast etc. So the 8k Furman fans (some of the 9k are other team) becomes 6K Furman fans due to forecast or less if actual hard rain. Crazy rain leaves even less. But yeah just forecast possible drops 1 or 2K fan attendance so it hurts our home advantage. Boo
So hoping for Sun so we get near standard attendance. Be LOUD EVERYONE!!
Back to O and D. I’ve often heard O - both teams - benefits if rain because O knows which way play is going. Except OL if pass rush bc then they have to react. What are thoughts on this? I know been asked but does running or throwing generally do better in rain ??
