This has been a fun year for Furman football. The game day atmosphere yesterday was great and there was a buzz around the stadium. It sure is nice to beat the Citadel. It never gets old.
One accomplishment that should be recognized is that for the first time since 2009, Furman has drawn at least 10,000 fans for each of its first 3 home games. In 2019, the average Paladin Stadium attendance was 6,039 fans per game. As of this moment (through 3 home gamss), Furman is averaging 10,665 per game which is an increase of 77 percent.
The average home game attendance through October 16th is as follows..
Furman - 10,665 per game
Citadel - 10,368 per game
