If VMI does lose it makes this loss to UTC sting more .. sort of. But honestly we were thoroughly out played on Many of our run plays! No room to run for our vaunted RBs w our OL. Their DL feasted on us. Game was won by their DL. Kudos to the Chatt DL

I predict Wofford will beat VMI because Wofford is not as bad as it seems and VMI not as good as it seems. Not that any other scores matter much to Furman this year.

I fear this one too. GoVMI. If Udinski doesn't get to play that will stink

Not really sure any scores matter. We pretty much cooked our own goose.

Basically. Plus they are running all over VMI - still early - and that’s a bad sign in two ways for us. Means VMI maybe isn’t that good ? Woff has 10 points in first Q. and could mean Wofford will be a tough out. I really want for us to beat Woff and Citadel

Udinski is out and things are not in a bubble - that affects everything. But Woff is able to run on VMI some and the VMI backup QB looks purty decent

Wofford looks susceptible to the pass

Udinski backup is 21-28 for 316 yds. 3 TD’s and 0 int. VMI up 27-24 8 to play.

Backup looked very good. Granted Woff is missing most DL but so far he was totally composed and calm. Very impressive. Woff scored w 1:45 left to

To be fair WC killed themselves. On last two VMI drives WC had 4 pass interferance penalties and 1 roughing the oasser. Meanwhile, Mercer is running all over UTC, a team we were totally shutdown by.

Watched second half of Woffy-VMI. VMI played whole game with backup QB and he looked great in half that I saw.

Woffy up 17-7 at half. VMI scores and misses extra point. Woffy 17-13. VMI scores again to make it VMI 20-17. Woffy scores to make it Woffy 24-20. VMI scores to make it VMI 27-24 and gets ball back with about 6 min. left.

VMI 3rd and 9, incomplete pass, Woffy called for roughing passer. 1st down.
VMI 3rd and 10, incomplete pass, Woffy called for pass interference. 1st down.
VMI 3rd and 8, incomplete pass, Woffy called for pass interference. 1st down.

VMI runs 3 plays then kick field goal. VMI 30-24.

Woffy has ball on own 25 with 1:38 and no timeouts. Throws pass to receiver over the middle, tackle missed and he outruns the D to the house for a TD. Woffy 31-30.

VMI gets ball on own 25 with 1:23 and 2 TO's. Goes down the field and gets to about Woffy 40. Throws pass. Another pass interference call on Woffy. 1st down at 14. Throws pass for TD and wins 36-31.

Some of those calls were legit, but at least 2 were questionable and all 4 might have been questionable.

Woffy run D good. Pass D bad. Offense run good, pass bad. Except for 1 play.

We can expect a tough game from Wofford and also Mercer.

Looks to me like Furman, Chatt, Sammy, ETSU, Woffy, and VMI could beat each other on any given day. VMI has been luckier so far. But there is no QUIT in VMI.

VMI only has two games remaining; ETSU and citadel. Only one opportunity to lose, if ETSU can get better. They aren't looking that good against Western today.

The game announcers did say that UTC started 5 true freshmen on their offensive line.

Update on what Chatty is accused of doing with its healthy starters today.
