I'm still unpacking this >
Axel Lepvreau from Manatee HS - Florida has committed and I'm guessing signed with Furman.
Axel originally signed with Miami >
Now this > by the way this could be a HUGE late pickup…

Lepvreau had a full ride to Southern Miss but signed to be a PWO at Miami.
Had interest from South Carolina, Kentucky, Duke, FIU, Army, Harvard, Dartmouth, Penn, and Columbia.

Great late addition to the program! This kid looks like he's gonna be a monster on kickoffs. Should be a great competition in camp to see who's going to be the next Furman Foot.

I know everyone hated to see Grayson Atkins move on (I did too), but Furman has never really struggled to find really good kickers.

Agree. 1980-82 was a famine. No steak or ribs or chops to be found in the upstate. A horrible time to be a New York Strip or a 12 pack of Busch beer.
