SEC/SoCon Football Officiating Consortium

The Southern Conference will partner with the Southeastern Conference to coordinate its football officiating beginning in 2020. This is great news. Looking forward to a huge step up in the quality of officiating in the conference.

Good news, but I don’t see how you can improve SoCon officiating, lol.

Does this mean that the SEC will assign young refs that could eventually be SEC to get experience in SoCon? If so, that could certainly mean an improvement in quality of officials.

Have you ever watched a SEC game? I don’t see how this is going to help SoCon referees.
