Let's get win #8 :D

We will match the most wins we have had in any year since we won 11 games in 2005

I’m curious how we manage this game. I would assume we could win by as much as we want to. Since nothing is guaranteed playoff wise, I hope we play seniors a lot. Rotate the QBs virtually every drive. Try some new defensive schemes. Try to get some records for Gordon, Atkins, Wynn ... whoever is close to milestones.

Could be closer than many think. They have won 4 of their last 6. Long range forecast is 40% chance of showers. Temps in the 50's.

Need to play a strong game to get confidence back. Strong Defense and Offense, and get both QBs meaningful snaps. Gonna need them both if we want to win multiple playoff games.

I'll go - even if it rains!

I'm expecting this to be Furman's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

Really, you’re kidding? I was ticked off yesterday big time, but that was yesterday. An at-large playoff bid will be on the line. Those that think we should be concerned with individuals getting records...that’s a problem. We need a team win.

No to records.
No to getting anyone playing time for anyone just for the sake of playing time.
What I’d like to see against Point is for us to match or exceed our points against VMI and to hold Point to the same number, or fewer, that were scored against us by WCU.
Therefore, I’d like to see 60-7 or better.
Kennesaw State beat Point 59-0 this season.
So 59-0 would be OK.
None of this 37-14 or the like.
Nothing against Point, other than the fact that our level of ability, on offense and on defense, should be significantly above Point’s level of ability.

Speaking of that KSU/Point game I believe it was stopped in the 3rd quarter due to weather. After the Point game KSU gained 3 spots in the coaches poll. I am sure we will not be afforded the same.

I’m not sure why my post was read as I would be fine with a close win or that we should only kick field goals or only pass to one player to get records. I’m expecting us to destroy them, name our final score, even with 3rd string. With that in mind, I want to see the QBs get equal work, out D to stuff the run and if it’s possible to set a few records, go for it. Christ.
