That’s all I have.

We made a statement today! Are we good ? Time will tell. It’s a process, and I like what I see. The more physical team won today. And yes, we have more talent !!

Folks we may just have ourselves a football team.

We are a top 10 team in the country. No doubt in my mind. Keep it going and it will be a special year.

I think we witnessed the maturation of a football team today.

Very good win for your guys today. You all have an exceptional football team. Now go win them all.

A couple observations from someone who has never played a down of football (but bleeds purple).

1. Awesome win!!!
2. Holding a good offensive team like Mercer to 10 points is huge.
3. Grainger is the best looking QB prospect I've seen in a long time.
4. Gofurman worries too much but he bleeds more purple.

We dominated so thoroughly It is hard to be sure of anything other than that we won every aspect of the game. We out rushed Mercer by almost 300 yards and out passed them by 28 yards while throwing the ball 23 fewer times. Mercer only had one possession of more than single digit number of plays. Most of the time it was 3,4, or 5 plays and out.

Thanks! I was really surprised it wasn't a better game. Good luck to the Bears the rest of the season.

Yes (I do worry too much but I live to see Furman win!). But I am not sure I bleed more purple as we all are the right side here !

We were good from '78 through '90 when we won 9 SoCon championships. This team has an opportunity to be good. 1-0 in the SoCon is a good start.

This team is obviously on a different level than what we have seen in the past few years.
