Stanford sponsored 36 sports and is now down to 25. Of course all of the “sports” they cut are laughable and are attributable to Stanford’s snobbish, elitist attitude. For example there are only 2 field hockey teams on the west coast.
Where are all those other SoCon sports being cut as we were told to expect?
We may yet see them but I agree I thought we would have see a few already
If football doesn't happen this fall you'll see a lot more.

Not the same, no one ever mention “if there is no football in the fall” yada yada yada.

Stanford has cut 11 sports that have won 20 NCAA Championships.
Again all they cut were laughable with very little competition. For example there are exactly 2 field hockey teams on the west coast. Are you really going to brag about a squash NC that virtually no one plays?

Stanford and Dartmouth have cut sports. It still leaves them many many more than the minimum

They both cut programs from both mens and womens programs

Stanford has a 5% acceptance rate and Dartmouth has 10 % acceptance rate.

With these numbers they will easily be able to replace the non-scholie revenue

Stanley (of Ollie fame) and Bigmouth have cut sports. It still leaves them many many more than the minimum

With these numbers they will easily be able to replace the non-scholie revenue

Small school in the south has 60% acceptance rate.

Then its a 20% yield (actual admissions/admitted).

To replace the 100 players lost the admission rate (assuming the same number of applicants) would have to be 70%

Not an expert but that should have an effect on rankings. Wonder how much that is worth?

Seems like we need to either lower price and costs or increase acceptance. Either way will impact rankings. But if that’s what it takes to stay in business, who cares?

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
