Furman degree vs. Coastal degree.........

Degree?
They are there for the VD. CCU has one of the highest rates of VD of any college in the country.FUBeAR wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 9:53 pmDegree?
Coastal Football Players aren’t there for school.
A very Sr. person in CCU’s Athletics Department told FUBeAR that, first-hand, about 10-12 years ago. Doubt they have tougher standards in the current “we don’t need no stinkin’ rules” environment of college athletics.
Interesting photo choice for an Elon LB to announce a Furman offer.
If you track this at pretty much any other school at the FBS or FCS level, that’s not that uncommon. Portal recruiting is fairly different than recruiting a high school kid. For schools like Furman, who don’t have truckloads of money to throw at their top targets, You have to cast a wide net to catch a few fish. At least that has been my view of portal recruiting at the FCS level from what I tracked with several schools.
Furman typically won't announce these transfers until they are enrolled. There have been some situations in the recent past that guys have basically no showed.
I thought some about this. In recent years, Furman really only lost graduate transfers. It was rare (still is somewhat rare) for Furman to lose an undergrad transfer.
