Who has the best chance of making a roster? I think Pline and Blackshear have the best shot.
I'd say Johanning, then Pline. I think Blackshear has a shot too, but given how many lineman NFL teams carry I think there are more spots for someone like Johanning rather than Pline or Blackshear.

I think Pline has a slight edge because of his size. You can’t teach size. He is a big target.

Contingent on Jake making the 53 man roster. Guaranteed money, his 25K signing bonus.

Mason Pline signed a 3 year , $2,840,000 contract with the San Francisco 49ers, including $10,000 signing bonus, $50,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $946,667. In 2024, Pline will earn a base salary of $795,000 and a signing bonus of $10,000, while carrying a cap hit of $798,333 and a dead cap value of $50,000.

Those are standard UFA rookie contracts if they make the team's 53 man roster. If they don't, they keep the signing bonus money. If they are on the practice squad then that is a different financial package.

Does making the taxi squad count or does it have to be the active roster?

Practice squad players are on a different type of contract. I don’t know the exact details, but I believe it’s a week to week arrangement. The money is nothing like the contracts above but it is still a good deal.
