too many FGs - glad we are playing better on D but not sure I understand the QB change there. they said Roberts was fine. you are only up by 7 and bring in a different QB? who you obviously dont feel good about throwing - on 3rd and 7 near goal just run a basic option. No rollout for pass. Down near goal things tighten up - not huge thing but not sure I get the QB change . hope roberts ok

Wow . We are one dimensional without Roberts.

A shame that on ESPN3 you can hear one announcer well and barely hear the other one. A shame they cannot realize that.

summary - great D.. need to put it in Endzone and not just FGs once or twice more...

Got to stick w Roberts I think - need the pass game to keep them off balance

A lot to like in this one. Not sure I understand the switch to Grainger, but I'm not the head coach.

ETSU has a stingy defense. Furman's gotta start converting in the redzone. I'm not sure they can drive the field on us, so I think the game will eventually be decided by how well our offense is able to move down and flip the field.

With the way this conference has gone to this point, I'll take any win on the road. No questions asked. Just get the job done.

Need to score on the first possession of the 2nd half.

I have to agree with CCH on his show Thursday night. We are just making too many mistakes/errors that are killing us. For example a very catchable ball at the end of the half gets dropped and instead of having a first down we punt and they get points.

Haven’t seen the first bit of lightening. The players are still in the locker room but there are peeps standing on the sidelines and they didn’t clear the stadium, so we are all sitting here on metal bleachers waiting for the second half. Weird.

Players back out. 10 min warmup.
Thanks. Those weather delays in football can be peculiar. I think UTC had about a 3-hour delay in their first contest.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
