So, I went down a rabbit hole for a minute.
This may have been obvious to others, but I hadn't picked up on it.
This past fall, our home uniform changed. The home purples dropped the double shoulder stripe and added "TV numbers" to the shoulder. The font also changed from a blockier "Paladins" to a sleeker font that mimics the end zones.
Our road/white uniform last season, though did not appear to change. The "Paladins" was in a blockier font and the shoulder stripes are still present. It also appears the new purples had a "diamond F" on the neck and the whites did not. This shows the difference:
Our road whites now appear to have dropped the stripes, update the font, and now match up with the home purples
The black jerseys appear to use the updated font, but lose the TV numbers on the shoulders.
I guess there is an open question on whether we will still see the gray alternates this year. The gray tops, worn at home, had "Furman" instead of "Paladins" and had the older font.
