We won't beat Wofford, Citadel, or anyone left on our schedule scoring 3 points.

We are 0-4 in our last 4 Socon games. Mercer is a good but not great team and we weren’t very competitive yesterday. Fortunately we have a bye week and an opportunity for our staff to make some changes, the spring season problems on O have not miraculously disappeared. After that we face the worst Wofford team in at least the past 10 years and a genuinely bad Citadel team. If we are going to get better and give this team a little confidence this is the opportunity.

We are 0-4 in our last 4 SoCon games and got embarrassed in front of a large crowd at home yesterday. Yet CCH says we are as good as anyone in the league.

How about we got beat by a better team today. We will work hard to make things better but we obviously have to get some things staighten out. We can still win the league. What he said was pure fantasyland. Talk is cheap. Show it on the field.

He could have said lots of things that didn’t make him look out of touch with reality. Sure, all football coaches lie a good bit, but CH’s BS over past year or so has been so over the top that he is in danger of losing all credibility. Why does anybody listen to anything he says?

Paul you KNOW I respect you (and many on this board).. but CCH should MAN UP and speak the freakin' truth.

"We are as good as anyone" ??? REALLY - then why are we about the only team Citadel can beat (roughly speaking) and getting SHELLACKED by a new coach at Mercer ... no one likes to have sugar blown up their arse. It is insulting. QUality coaches (which I know CCH is) say things like "we got outplayed. Mercer was better prepared and that is on me and my assistants.. we need to go back to the drawing board as our players and fans deserve better"

ANYTHING but ' we are as good as anyone in the league'. that's an insult to fans who watched us score THREE points.

THIS. EXACTLY. It is like losing to Bama 50-7 and saying "we could have won" .. this talk is becoming delusional and, honestly, a little scary . MAN UP - admit we got whooped and have a lot to work on. Say something like "we will get back at it and I think you will see a better product at Wofford"
